This picture is from the graduating ceremony at the end of combat commanding school where Roey was a class sergeant- training the next generation of Golani Sergeants.
Roey had a lot of soldiers, but he still always managed to care and love each and every one of them personally, sharing the warm feeling you always get when you look at his pure happy face.
He always solved every problem they had and would never go to sleep unless he did, teaching us a lot about how a commander should behave.
His joy and laughter were contagious, and he always knew how to turn every nerve racking situation into a good one using his great sense of humor, joyful energy or just hitting you with a joke you never saw coming, leaving you in tears.
Roey’s a model for all the good qualities every person ,soldier and commander wish to have.
The impact he has on people is massive and would always be a symbol for love, happiness, joy, and how a true commander should act.
I love you so much brother, our warrior family is doing everything to honor your name, knowing that the positive impact you made on our lives will be everlasting❤️❤️❤️❤️
